Philip Cosper accepts new position in Shelby County

CHELSEA, Ala. – Long time Talladega County School System employee, Philip Cosper has accepted a new position as Assistant Principal at Chelsea High School.


Cosper said of his time with the TCBOE, “I’ve had a wonderful 19-year career at Talladega County Schools system and they have truly helped me become who I am today. I will be forever grateful of TCBOE and those people there who were always there for me. I will miss my drivers and countless other administrators, teachers, staff, and students that I made so many wonderful memories with.”

Of his new position in neighboring Shelby County, he added, “I have already met so many welcoming and supportive people in Shelby County, and I hope I can be asset to this great school system. I am excited to be back with students, because I know deep down that’s where God wants me to be.”
