TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – In a well-deserved conclusion to his collegiate career last Saturday, Nov. 18, former Childersburg football player Takairee “T.K.” Kenebrew wrapped up his last game for the University of North Alabama (UNA) with a record-breaking touchdown against Florida State.
The redshirt senior wide receiver was tied with Dre Hall at 25 career receiving touchdowns, and T.K. made history by surpassing Hall with a memorable touchdown in his farewell performance.
In the first quarter of North Alabama’s game against the Seminoles, Kenebrew caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from sophomore quarterback Noah Walters to give the visiting Lions a shock lead. After scoring once more to go up 13-0, Florida State would go on to score 58 unanswered points to eventually win, 58-13.
The grand finale of his career against Florida State not only solidified Kenebrew’s legacy at UNA but also marked the end of his collegiate journey.
As a senior, Kenebrew’s impact on the field and his record-breaking achievements position him as a potential candidate for a Senior Bowl invite as well as potential NFL Draft Combine participation.
