Coosa County schools closing at noon today to accommodate funeral procession for Adam Russell

HANOVER, Ala. – Due to potential congestion in the area, Coosa County schools will be letting out at 12:00 p.m. today, April 10, to allow a clear path for the funeral procession of Adam Russell who passed away in the Lifesaver 4 crash last weekend.

Russell’s funeral will take place in Hanover at Andrews Chapel Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon.

The procession is coming from Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga where the visitation is happening from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Coosa County Rd. 49 will also be closed to traffic at the start of the funeral and will stay closed for a few hours.
