MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce was among eight local chambers named Accredited Alabama Chambers of Commerce by the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama this week. The announcement was made at the CCAA’s summer convention in Point Clear.
The Accredited Alabama Chamber program promotes public awareness of chambers as community development and business membership organizations, setting standards of excellence for the state’s chambers and recognizing those that achieve those standards.
Others receiving the AACC distinction were the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce, Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce, Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce, Sumter County Alabama Chamber of Commerce, and The Chamber of Gadsden and Etowah County.
