SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sunday’s pedestrian hit by vehicle has been identified.
SPD identified the victim as 22-year-old Brandon Lee Simpson of Wilson Lane in Sylacauga.
As previously reported by SylacaugaNews.com, Simpson was struck by a vehicle that was traveling in the eastbound lanes around 4:30 a.m. near Allen’s Truck Stop. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Talladega County Coroner Shaddix Murphy.
SPD Chief Kelly Johnson says no foul play is suspected.
