CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Cuppa Grace began serving customers at its downtown Childersburg location in December. On Tuesday, it held its official grand-opening celebration.
The coffeehouse was packed with guests and local business owners Tuesday morning to welcome Jenn Gallups and her staff to the city of Childersburg.
Cuppa Grace cooked a hot breakfast and offered complimentary coffee for those in attendance as they became familiar with what has already become one of Childersburg’s more popular destinations.
Greater Coosa Valley Chamber of Commerce President Tom Roberts hosted the event and formally introduced Gallups. “We worked very hard to gut this building ready to open,” said Gallups. “We thank everyone for their patience. The City and Mayor [Ken] Wesson checked on us every week. We feel so privileged to be here.”
After the reception, Cuppa Grace held a ribbon cutting ceremony.
