Kirkpatrick hits first career homerun as Lady Aggies top Wildcats in area play

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga softball is now 2-1 in area play after dominating Shelby County Thursday night.

Sylacauga got the victory at Pinecrest Park after a commanding performance at the plate.  The Lady Aggies were able to stack 15 runs on the scoreboard, while only giving up eight to the Wildcats.

The game featured junior Emma Kirkpatrick’s first career homerun.

Sylacauga will face Oxford today at Choccolocco Park at 4:30 and Sand Rock at 5:45.
