Workout Anytime Sylacauga having major success since opening in September

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – With the new year approaching, everyone is making resolutions, and one of the most common resolutions you hear about is getting fit. The way most people try to achieve this goal is by joining a gym.

There is no need to look any further than Workout Anytime (WOA) Sylacauga which recently opened in September in the Marble City Towne Center on Fort Williams St. The new, state-of-the-art facility offers memberships that won’t break the bank, starting at $15 per month with no contract. Being in a small town, the staff makes it a point to get to know each member to better help individual fitness journeys.

Even though WOA has only been in Sylacauga for around four months, the staff has started to see progress in some of the members.

“We have started to see inches come off the waistline, and some of the guys have started to gain muscle since they have been coming the past few months,” said Ray Lee, one of the certified trainers at WOA. “One man has used the body imaging scanner to track his progress, and has seen his muscles changing and losing fat, and he is really excited about his progress he has made already.”

Sabrina Fowler, another certified trainer on staff, said the members are starting to create a routine, which is important for progress, and they will have more more success stories in the coming months.

“We got one lady out of her comfort zone and she is now in an MX4 class with younger people and doing all of it. Her attitude has completely changed, and we can’t wait to see her progress in a few months,” said Fowler.

WOA staff members are all certified trainers in some area of fitness, bringing a wide range of experience for members who may want one-on-one or group coaching. They are always available to assist members if they have any questions or want advice for fitness or getting started or motivation and push as much as needed.

“We want to be known as a very family-oriented gym. We are here to help everyone,” said Fowler.

With the membership, members get access to more than 140 other WOA gyms nationwide. The members receive allows for 24 hour access to the WOA Sylacauga facility. After workouts, members can use the HydroMassage chair, which helps with relaxing, stretching, and recovery for muscles. WOA also offers stand-up tanning, a lay-down tanning bed, free equipment orientation classes, a free low-impact class, and MX4, which is a 30 minute high-intensity small group workout for all fitness levels. Members also have access to the laser body imaging system, providing different measurements every four to six weeks to see the progress, other than what is shown on the scale.

Memberships for WOA are also family friendly, giving entire families the option to join with the friends and family membership. Members can be as young as 12 years old if they sign up with a parent and come with them to workout.

Currently, there is a special going on for different membership gift card options as Christmas gifts. For more information, visit the WOA Sylacauga website or Facebook page, or stop by and talk with one of the team members.
