If you’re out and about in Sylacauga and the surrounding area, there’s a pretty good chance you’ve met at least one member of the dynamic sales duo of Katie Wesson and Jada Holland.
They go everywhere, they do everything, and they meet everyone. The RadioAlabama sales team runs on caramel macchiato iced coffee and Tokyo’s spicy crab roll, and they’re not stopping until the deal is sealed.
On “What’s The Scoop?” I follow the pair as they see what’s happening around town. Let’s just hope these two don’t get me into too much trouble.
This time around, Jada and Katie took a visit to the self-proclaimed oldest town in America, Childersburg. It’s only right that the two decided to have lunch at Old Town Grille.
Winners in the Business Lunch category for the Best of the Coosa Valley this year, Old Town Grille offers a plethora of menu options to choose from. However, with all the choices available, Jada said she would be most happy with simply a cup of their blue cheese dressing.
Next up, the pair made a long trek across the parking lot to Sweet Pickins’.
Sweet Pickins’ is an antique mall where vendors can rent booths and sell all sorts of unique items. Whether you’re looking for hair bows, jewelry, or Darth Vader with a candy cane, owner Patti and manager Tabitha probably have it at their “happy place.”
The final stop on this short visit was to That’s Hot Boutique, a clothing store located on Hwy 280 beside Subway.
After indulging in plenty of blue cheese and chicken wings, both said they were too full to try on any clothes at That’s Hot, but they will definitely be back to try on some of their great summer outfits!
If one thing is for certain, when these two hit the town, you never know exactly what you’re getting into.
