Tuesday, Nov. 8: Sylacauga City Schools Open House at 6:00 p.m. for a tour of the newly-renovated gym and to meet the Nichols-Lawson Middle School and Sylacauga High School basketball teams.
Wednesday, Nov. 9: Sylacauga Business Associates networking lunch meeting at Coosa Valley Medical Center’s Marble City Room-Hickory Street Café.
Friday, Nov. 11: Veterans Day Parade starting at 10:00 a.m. at Legion Stadium, heading south on Broadway, then west on Fort Williams, terminating at the American Legion Hall on Hammett Avenue.
Saturday, Nov. 12: C.O.A.C.H. (Cancer Outreach and Community Hope) hosts its third annual Holiday in the Country event from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Stewartville Volunteer Fire Department on County Road 70. Pancake breakfast, car show and motorcycle ride, country mile run/walk, and more. Proceeds will go to benefit cancer patients and families.
