[WATCH] The cream rises to the top with Blue Bell’s newest flavor, A&W Root Beer Float

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Blue Bell Creameries is introducing its newest addition to the flavor lineup with A&W Root Beer Float.

In a sweet collaboration with A&W Root Beer, this latest creation, which hit stores on Thursday, May 16, will evoke memories of classic root beer floats enjoyed during the summer.

Combining creamy vanilla ice cream with the distinct flavor of A&W Root Beer, the frozen treat will feature swirls of root beer-flavored sherbet.

This new A&W Root Beer Float flavor comes after the success of last year’s top-selling limited time option, Dr. Pepper Float.

Available in half-gallon and pint sizes until 2025, A&W Root Beer Float will be sold in 23 states where Blue Bell products are available. For those outside these areas, the company is offering shipping options.
