[WATCH] CVMC honors nurses on National Nurses Day

SAYLACAUGA, Ala. – Today is National Nurses Day, and also marks the beginning National Nurses Week.

Nurses are sometimes overlooked in the grand scheme of the healthcare system, but the truth is, no one is more vital to a patient’s health than their nurses.

Over the last two months, nurses locally, and across the nation, have handled unknown circumstances as well as they could, and put their health on the line to ensure the health and well-being of not only COVID-19 patients, but patients in general.
