[WATCH] Coosa County child returns home to surprise after battling lymphoma at a Birmingham hospital since April

STEWARTVILLE, Ala. – John Lucas is a 4-year-old Coosa County boy that has faced an uphill battle.

Lucas has been battling lymphoma for four months in a Birmingham hospital without being able to come home. Today, he finally did.

The Sylacauga Fire Department, along with other area departments, lined Houston Rd. with fire trucks and other department vehicles to welcome Lucas back home.
