SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Blue Bell is embracing its expansion into the St. Louis market with a flavorful tribute to the city’s culinary heritage with its newest flavor, Gooey Butter Cake.
The iconic ice cream brand announced the release of its latest creation which was made available in stores on Monday, March 18.
The new flavor is inspired by the famed St. Louis dessert, coinciding with Blue Bell’s debut in the Gateway City.
Gooey Butter Cake ice cream boasts a blend of Cake Batter Ice Cream swirled with creamy cream cheese and studded with rich, gooey butter cake pieces.
Carl Breed, Blue Bell’s vice president of sales and marketing, stated, “Our new Gooey Butter Cake Ice Cream is as delicious as the cake made famous in St. Louis. Our ice cream is a great introduction if you have not tasted a gooey butter cake.”
Available for a limited time in half-gallon and pint sizes, the release marks a milestone for Blue Bell as it expands its reach into St. Louis and surrounding areas.
