SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Police Department will elevate its presence at Sylacauga’s Walmart after threats have been made against the retailer.
Sylacauga Police Chief Kelley Johnson told SylacaugaNews.com his department has been hired on a night-by-night to add extra security services in case of rioting or looting.
Johnson explained Walmart has received at least one threat, and did not want to run the risk of its store being in jeopardy.
