BON AIR, Ala. – On Wednesday evening, Dec. 30, the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of an argument over property damage on Front St. in Bon Air. Told that shots were fired, deputies found an unresponsive white male later identified as Mark Brandon Hogan, age 37 of Vincent, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Talladega County Coroner Shadix Murphy pronounced Mr. Hogan deceased, and his body will be transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy.
The Childersburg Fire Department and officers with the Childersburg Police Department assisted in the response.
This is an ongoing death investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.
