Statewide, the senate election headlines all races as Republicans choose who will run against Democratic Senator Doug Jones. There is a crowded field in this race for Republicans, but polls have the race narrowed down to three; former Senator Jeff Sessions, former Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville and State Rep. Bradley Byrne.

Republicans in the county will also vote on County Commissioner District 1 and County Commissioner District 5. The District 1 race features incumbent Jackie Swinford, Robert Othanford and Jay Watson. District 5 will have a new commissioner regardless as Greg Atkinson will not seek re-election. This race is between Jaddy McDaniel, Philip Morris and Buddy Milam.

Revenue Commissioner is also up for grabs between Cindy Pennington and John Allen.
