SYLACAUGA, Ala. – A tragic multi-vehicle collision that took place right outside of Sylacauga’s city limits claimed the life of a Valley Head woman on Saturday evening, April 13.
Patricia M. Garner, 47, was fatally injured in the crash that occurred around 5:50 p.m.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division, Garner was operating a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja 300 SE motorcycle when it collided with a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Mahogony Z. Rowell, 26, of Sylcauga, and a 2017 Honda Accord driven by Trahmaud C. Jordan, 25, of Oxford.
Subsequently, the Honda struck the Toyota. Garner was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The incident transpired on Alabama Hwy 21 near the 213-mile marker, less than one mile north of Sylacauga.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. No further details are available at this time.
