SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The University of Tennessee at Martin Skyhawks accepted the commitment from B.B. Comer standout Chris Wilson on Sunday, Jan. 28.
Wilson plans to follow through with his commitment on Late Signing Day, scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 7.
Notably, UT-Martin, the “back-to-back-to-back” Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) champions in 2021, 2022, and 2023, is scheduled to face Memphis in the 2026 season.
This sets the stage for an intriguing matchup down the road between Wilson and his high school teammate Kamore Harris, who signed with Memphis in December.
Wilson, who starred as a defensive end for the Tigers but also played offensive tackle and took on punting duties, recorded 74 tackles (32 solo), eight tackles for loss, three sacks, and one fumble recovery in his senior season for B.B. Comer.
