SYLACAUGA, Ala. – USSSA Baseball registration is now open until Friday, Feb. 27 for boys and girls ages 3–12 through Sylacauga Parks and Recreation.
The registration fee is $85, or $65 for the Bambino League, and includes a jersey, hat, belt, and socks. Full payment is required at the time of registration. A child’s league age is determined by how old they will be on May 1, 2025. Players may not compete in an age group younger than their league age, but they are allowed to play up.
League divisions include Major League 12u (ages 11–12), Minor League 10u (ages 9–10), 8u Coach Pitch at 32 feet (ages 7–8), 6u Coach Pitch at 25 feet (ages 4–6), and Bambino League (ages 3–4). In the 6u Coach Pitch division, players will be offered a tee after their third swing attempt.
Registration is available online at Sylacauga.recdesk.com, in person at the J. Craig Smith Community Center, or by phone at (256) 249-8561.
Tryouts for players ages 8u–12u will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at the Donald Comer Complex. Tryouts are encouraged but not mandatory, and all registered players will be drafted. Bambino and 6u divisions will not hold tryouts and will use a blind draft system.
