SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce holds annual Chamber Awards recognizing outstanding local businesses on Tuesday, December 12.

The ceremony will be a luncheon at the J. Craig Smith Community Center at 12:00 p.m. and lunch will be served and catered by Hickory Street Café.

The annual Chamber awards for Non-Profit Organization of the Year, Cornerstone Award, and Horizon Award will be presented to outstanding local businesses.

“It is our opportunity for our Chamber to show appreciation to all our Chamber partners, but especially those who go above and beyond in their commitment to business, the Chamber, and the community,” said Laura Strickland, marketing director of Sylacauga Chamber.

Mr. Billy Canary, the keynote speaker, is the CEO of the Alabama Business Council. Billy is the leading advocate and lobbyist for a business friendly economic climate in the State of Alabama.

Organizers from the chamber hope for a great turn out from the community. They said they are confident that the event will be successful.
