SYLACAUGA, Ala. -Two Sylacauga residents were arrested Wednesday on drug charges.
According to Talladega County Jail records, 37-year-old Eliga Benson III and 38-year-old Kimberly Rae Thornton were arrested by the Sylacauga Police Department.
Benson has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He remains in the Talladega County Jail on $10,000 bond.
Thornton is also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Thornton is being held on $5,000 bond.
