CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Throughout the year, volunteers decorate downtown Childersburg for the various season, but the Christmas holiday means something truly special as “Trish’s Elves” transform the city into “Christmasburg” to the delight of locals and visitors alike.
Store windows are decorated and painted, holiday displays are set along the downtown sidewalks, banners and decorations are hung with care, like Christmas stockings awaiting a visit from Santa.
You and your family are invited to take in the seasonal setting sometime soon, along with a special invitation for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting activities on Tuesday, Dec. 2 and the Childersburg Christmas Parade on Thursday, Dec. 11.
