SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Around 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning, the Talladega County Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call at the 500 block of Marble City Heights in Sylacauga.
Carrie Leigh Buchanan, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Talladega County Sheriff, Jimmy Kilgore told SylacaugaNews.com the victim died from an apparent gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing.
