Tidal Wave hits Sylacauga with auto spa’s grand opening, ribbon cutting ceremony

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – On Thursday, Sept. 8, Tidal Wave Auto Spa, in coordination with the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce, held a grand opening capped off with a ribbon cutting.

The new car wash business’s address is 41191 US Hwy 280 next to Milo’s Hamburgers. Tidal Wave’s operating hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. all seven days of the week.

Sylacauga’s Tidal Wave is the 112th location to make a splash within its community. Tidal Wave started in metro Atlanta in 2005 with its first express car wash, and since then, Tidal Waves have rippled from Texas all the way north to Minnesota.

The most unique opportunity that Tidal Wave offers is a $30 per month, subscription-based membership plan that affords you one wash a day for an entire month. A family plan is also available where you can add extra vehicles to the same payment option at a discounted price.

Tidal Wave also provides its customers with interior cleaning and an exciting experience for children going through the wash with multicolored foam.

The express car wash business is also a big advocate for giving back through different charities. Since its inception, Tidal Wave Auto Spa has donated over one million dollars to special needs programs.

This Friday, Sept. 16, Tidal Wave will hold its annual Charity Day where 100 percent of the profits made will be given back. The Arc of South Talladega County and an unspecified organization that helps those with autism will split the donations this year.
