ROCKFORD, Ala. – A multi-agency drug investigation led to three arrests on Monday, July 28, following the execution of a search warrant in the Rockford area.
The Coosa County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, assisted by the Alabama Drug Enforcement Taskforce, the Rockford Police Department, the Kellyton Special Response Team, and the Alabaster Police Department, recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and scales used for distribution.
Jesse Leonard was charged with two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana in the first degree, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Anna Linto was charged with possession of a controlled substance, second-degree marijuana possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
James Robert Bonner was charged with first-degree marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
“This case has been worked diligently over the past couple of weeks, and I would like to thank all agencies for their assistance,” said Coosa County Sheriff Michael Howell.
The investigation remains ongoing.
