SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Registration has opened for the third edition of the ConnectHER Women’s Conference which will take place Friday, Oct. 21, at First Baptist Church in Sylacauga.
The event is hosted by the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Coosa Valley Medical Center as well as Nemak.
“The women of our region have embraced this event as an opportunity to celebrate and strengthen women in all seasons of their lives,” Laura Strickland, Executive Director of the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce, expressed.
The keynote speaker will be Liz Huntley, an attorney, author, and motivational speaker. Sylacauga’s own Heather Hendrickson Adair will also speak at the conference.
After a morning of mingling and hearing from guest speakers, the conference will wrap up with a lunch and the presentation of the Greater Sylacauga Area’s Woman of the Year award.
“This event offers a great opportunity to gather the women of your organization, friends, sisters, mothers, daughters, and co-workers to celebrate and strengthen themselves no matter their season in life,” said Strickland.
