Therapeutic Combinations celebrates grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Owner Nichole Shaw gathered a large crowd to help her celebrate a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce for her medical massage clinic, Therapeutic Combinations, located at 226 N Broadway Ave. in Sylacauga this past Friday morning, April 11.

Shaw is a licensed medical massage therapist and has been certified for over a decade. She is able to provide multiple modalities in each individual session.

“I’ve been practicing with a partner at ‘Our Healing Hands’ for years now in the region,” explained Shaw, “but medical massage recently came under the Nursing Board, which required me to break out on my own, to be independent in order to use all my certified modalities.”

Besides her therapeutic massage practice, Shaw has a background in the assisted living industry.

“I did that, even after gaining my certification, because that provided me with the caregiver perspective that really helps me focus on helping my patients in a relaxing setting.”

Tara Douglas of Broadway Spinal Care had high praise for Shaw.

“We are so excited to have her available for us to refer and recommend our patients,” noted Douglas. “She is someone we trust without reservation. I’m even her client myself. She has made a strong difference for me, as well as for our patients.”

Shaw’s medical and relaxation massage services are scheduled by appointment only.

“We recommend using our website for an initial consultation,” Shaw said. “That online process helps us provide a safe, relaxing, and professional atmosphere for everyone.”
