SYLACAUGA, Ala.  – Sylacauga’s newest event venue will hold its grand-opening tomorrow morning.

The Place on Broadway was set to open in July due to COVID-19, but Gov. Kay Ivey’s relaxed Safer at Home restrictions will allow the venue to open sooner.

The event, in conjunction with the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce, will begin at 9:00 and last until noon.

“This is something that I was really worried about, but I am excited to be able to still offer a place for people to celebrate and still maintain social distancing,” owner Kimm Wright previously told SylacaugaNews.com.
