The new Clay Coosa Narcotics Drug Task Force has made 11 arrests over the latest quarter

CLAY COUNTY, Ala. – The newly formed Clay-Coosa Narcotics Drug Task Force continues to proactively investigate and arrest individuals involved in illegal drug use and drug distribution throughout Clay County, making 11 arrests during the latest quarter.

Investigators have conducted multiple narcotics investigations, executed search warrants, and conducted proactive traffic enforcement that has resulted in numerous drug-related arrests across several communities in Clay County.

The following individuals have been arrested during these recent narcotics operations:
Eddie Zackery of Lineville, Demauri Clark of Talladega, Jodie Duncan of Lineville, Teresa Brown of Ashland, Freddie Caldwell of Ashland, Quartisa Houston of Ashland, Joseph Blancher of Ashland, Aaron Johnson of Lineville, Kira Colabella of Lineville, Brandi Sims of Lineville, Nathan Godwin of Lineville.

These arrests are the direct result of the continued commitment of Sheriff Henry Lambert and the Clay-Coosa Narcotics Drug Task Force to aggressively combat illegal drug activity and to rid each community in Clay County of dangerous illegal drugs. Investigators will continue targeting individuals involved in the use, distribution, and trafficking of illegal narcotics throughout our communities.

Sheriff Lambert would like to thank the investigators of the Clay Coosa Narcotics Drug Task Force, the deputies of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the Lineville Police Department, the Ashland Police Department, the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office, the Goodwater Police Department, Rockford Police Department and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, and the District Attorney’s Office of the 40th Judicial Circuit for their continued partnership and assistance in these investigations.
