CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Aaron Campbell is chasing a dream, adding a progression of new business establishments on 8th Ave. SW in downtown Childersburg. First up will be Aaron’s own bar and grill “The Nevermore” in the former Cuppa Grace building.
“We’re looking for a soft opening for ‘The Nevermore’ in early June with a great selection of beers on tap and some delicious bar food like burgers, wings, nachos, and such,” said Campbell.
The plan is for “The Nevermore” to be fully open for business in time for the next Third Thursday Block Party in downtown Childersburg. That event is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19.
He’ll be joined soon by a women’s salon at the other end of the block. Also, work continues on the building in between those new shops, as Campbell plans to open his own microbrewery later in the fall. Of course, the craft beers he’ll create in that facility will be featured at the bar below inside “The Nevermore.”
