CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – First Lady Trisha Wesson and her merry band of helpers ushered in the fall season in downtown Childersburg, decorating from the Hwy 280 entrance into town, all the way down 1st St.
Crews from the Street Department and Parks and Recreation helped Wesson’s volunteers beautifully display all sorts of fall decorations, and it won’t be long before they’re all back to turn downtown into “Christmasburg.”
In fact, Wesson thanked Glenda Holmes, Candy Mahaffey, and Jennifer Riddle for already beginning that process, volunteering their time to freshen up Christmas props.
“The sleigh and hot chocolate stand look great! Thank you, Floyd and crew, for helping us as well,” remarked Wesson. “We are so blessed to have so many that help make our little town beautiful!”
