CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – A Thursday morning, April 24, ribbon-cutting ceremony made complete the transition from popular food truck to a new physical restaurant for the Chicken Coop in downtown Childersburg.
The Chicken Coop will be open Tuesday through Sunday at 918 1st St. SW in downtown Childersburg. They opens the doors at 10:30 a.m. every day, except on Sundays at 12:00 p.m. and Mondays, when they are closed.
The regular, everyday menu stays pretty much the same as the food truck menu, featuring the chicken wings they have become famous for producing, along with pork chops, fries, and drinks.
But they’ll have something special every Sunday for lunch, available from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Chicken Coop Sunday menu expands to a full cafeteria-style selection with a choice of meat entrees and vegetable with other sides.
