SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga will hold “Annual Clean-Up Day” on Saturday, April 4, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. The event is sponsored by the City of Sylacauga, the Sylacauga Beautification Council and Talladega County Commissioner Greg Atkinson.

“The clean-up day is very important to the city of Sylacauga not only to maintain our city, but to keep our best foot forward,” said Sylacauga Mayor Jim Heigl.

Trash bags and dumpsters will be available in the parking lot of City Hall, and pick up will take place throughout the city.

According to Heigl, all organizations, churches and citizens are urged to participate in helping to clean up the city.

“The appearance of our city is very important to our guests and our citizens,” said Heigl.

Any questions about clean-up day may be directed to the City of Sylacauga at 256-401-2424.
