SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Christmas Parade will return Thursday, Dec. 4, continuing a holiday tradition recently voted the Coosa Valley’s “Best Local Event” for 2025.
Businesses and community groups from across the region are set to roll out festive floats along the parade route, culminating in a special appearance by Santa Claus to close the evening.
Organizers have issued several guidelines for participants. Items cannot be thrown, tossed, or handed out from floats or vehicles, and participants are asked not to dress as Santa or include Santa-themed decorations. Motorcycles, dirt bikes, and all-terrain vehicles will not be permitted in the lineup.
The parade is expected to draw large crowds as Sylacauga ushers in the holiday season.
