The 2025 Kymulga Grits Festival set for Saturday, May 17 in Childersburg

CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – The 2025 Grits Festival at Kymulga Grist Mill, sponsored by Renasant Bank of Childersburg, is set for Saturday, May 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Admission is $1 for ages six and up, cash only. Park memberships will not be valid for this event.

Visitors can enjoy more than 50 vendor booths, live creekside music, and tours of the historic grist mill and covered bridge. The area also features over eight miles of scenic walking trails.

Food options include locally famous shrimp and grits, burgers, hot dogs, fries, boiled peanuts, and roasted corn. Pavilion food and store souvenirs now accept credit cards.

Family-friendly activities include a balloon artist, gem mining, pony rides, and trail train rides. Kids, as well as adults, can also enjoy cotton candy and snow cones.
