TCBOE suggest that students and faculty continue to wear masks after lifted mandate

SHARE NOW
SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Talladega County Schools are suggesting that students and faculty continue wearing masks and facial coverings in the classroom after the statewide mask mandate is lifted on April 9.

The Centers for Disease Control recommends the wearing of masks as a mitigation strategy to help control the spread of COVID-19 in their most recent guidelines.
Students returned to five day a week in-person classes on March 15, which has limited the capacity for social distancing in most schools, classrooms, and buses.
Although wearing a mask will be a personal choice after April 9, exercising this personal responsibility will strengthen the chance of completing the school year successfully.
