Talladega woman suffering gunshot wounds found dead in vehicle Monday morning

TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – An 18-year-old woman was found dead in a vehicle early Monday morning in Alpine.

A release from the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office stated law enforcement and the Winterboro Volunteer Fire Department responded to reports of a vehicle crash on the 1400 block Alpine Winterboro Rd. When they arrived, the 18-year-old female, Barbara Ann Harmon of Talladega, was was unresponsive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

First repsonders were not able to revive Harmon.

TCSO said Harmon’s body will be taken to the Alabama Department of Forensics Sciences.
