SYLACAUGA Ala.- Talladega Superspeedway will be the first sports facility to host fans since the COVID-19 pandemic started.
Talladega Superspeedway announced Tuesday, it will allow a limited number of local fans to attend the GEICO 500 NASCAR Cup Series on June 21.
According to NASCAR, 5000 fans will be allowed in the stands, following social distancing guidelines.
Tailgating and camping will look a little different this year, as there will also be limited motorhome camping spots available outside the track.
Fans will be screened before entering and required to wear a face covering, while maintaining six feet social distancing.
