TALLADEGA, Ala. – The Talladega County Drug Task Force arrested a man last week on multiple drug charges in Talladega.
Last Wednesday, Nov. 22, Ralph Dewayne Smith, a 33 year old resident of Eastaboga, was arrested for drug charges by the Talladega County Drug Task Force (TCDTF).
The TCDTF went undercover to purchase methamphetamine from Smith in October, gathered evidence, and went back to make the arrest last week. When making the arrest, Smith was also found with marijuana. Cmdr. Jason Murray said there are other things in relation to Smith’s arrest he could not discuss, but he is always on the radar for the TCDTF. Murray did say that Smith does sell and distribute marijuana, but was not charged because he was not caught in the act of selling it.
Smith’s bond is set at $300,000 for both charges of Distribution and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
