TALLADEGA, Ala. – The Talladega Police Department made two arrests last week for theft of property first degree.
Tyree Chesterion Robinson, a 22 year old male from Talladega, and Crystyle Qshawn Stockdale, a 20 year old male from Talladega, were arrested on Nov. 16 in Talladega for theft of property first degree. The two men stole $50 and a vehicle from a victim on Renfroe Tower Rd. in Talladega. During the crime, Robinson was carrying a pistol without a license. Robinson and Stockdale fled the scene in the stolen vehicle.
Robinson was found a few days later in Talladega Downs apartment complex where TPD then went to pick him up. Stockdale came to the police department a few days after to talk to the police about what happened. “We were able to make a case on him about what happened after he came in to talk to us and made the arrest,” said Talladega police Capt. John McCoy. Capt. McCoy also stated TPD are hoping to make other charges on these two men in reference to the same offense.
The vehicle was recovered the next day. It was parked on the side of the road only a few miles away from where the incident took place. With the charges of carrying a pistol without a permit and theft, Robinson’s bail is set at $31,475, and Stockdale’s bond is set at $100,000.
