SYLACAUGA, Ala. – After many years of consideration, residents in Talladega County voted “yes” on Sunday alcohol sales.

Residents in Talladega County can now purchase alcohol on Sundays after the hour of 12 p.m.

Before being voted on, many cities within the county had passed their own versions of the law. Cities who had not adopted their own version of the law had to take their business elsewhere, if they wanted to purchase alcohol on Sundays.

This will create more revenue for businesses throughout the county, especially during the summer months.
