TALLADEGA, Ala. – Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Rodrickous Durell Keith, a 37-year-old male who has been missing since May of last year.
Keith, a member of a local tribe, was last in contact with his family in March of 2022.
Described as a black male standing at a height of 5’10” and weighing 185 pounds, Keith was known to be living in the Talladega National Forest before his disappearance. Members of his tribe informed the family that Keith left them in May 2022, and there has been no contact with him since.
Keith is a seasoned survivalist, with a history of living “off grid” for extended periods. However, it is noted that he would typically maintain some form of contact with his family during these times, raising concerns about his current well-being.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have had contact with Rodrickous Durell Keith or has information about his possible whereabouts to come forward. The Talladega County Sheriff’s Office can be reached at (256) 761-2141 or (256) 245-5121.
The family and law enforcement are actively working to gather any leads that could help locate Keith and ensure his safety.
