Talladega County Schools and Sylacauga City Schools announce Monday changes due to severe weather threat

UPDATE: Sylacauga City Schools have announced that Monday, March 31 will be an eLearning day. If weather permits, all after-school activities will go on as originally scheduled.

TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – Talladega County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, March 31, due to the threat of severe weather, school officials have announced.

All schools in the system will begin two hours later than usual, and buses will also run two hours later than their normal schedule.

As of now, Sylacauga City Schools plan to operate on a normal schedule.

School officials for both systems are urging parents and students to stay updated on any further changes.
