SYLACAUGA Ala. – The state of Alabama is trending upward in the number of positive Coronavirus cases being reported.
Since Gov. Kay Ivey’s amended Safer at Home order, the number of cases have skyrocketed, due to more tests being available.
While things have returned to semi-normal, residents in Talladega County are still taking safety precaution, resulting in a low number of new cases being reported throughout the county.
Talladega County now has 163 positive cases, which is relatively low compared to other counties throughout the state.
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health, Montgomery County now has the most cases in the state, with 2,871 COVID-19 cases.
The state of Alabama has now recorded 25,892 positive cases, with 769 deaths.
