MARIETTA, Ga. – A 25-year-old fugitive from Talladega County has been caught by the Marietta Police Department.
Austin Shay Carlisle of Talladega is accused of being a fugitive from aiding a prisoner’s escape by the Talladega County Sheriff’s Department.
He was located at the Advance Auto Parts store on Fairground Street in Marietta, Georgia on the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Marietta officials list no charges themselves, but Carlisle is listed on Monday, Oct. 7, as a “Fugitive” from Alabama and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, where he remains in custody without bond, while the State of Alabama follows through on their plan to extradite him back to Talladega County.
Carlisle was previously arrested in Talladega County on Friday, March 15 on a Probation Violation.
