SYLACAUGA, Ala. – COVID-19 numbers are on the rise in Alabama. Talladega County is seeing a significant uptick in positive cases and hospitals are running out of beds to care for patients.
Talladega County is currently reporting 4,110 positive COVID-19 cases. A total of 689 cases have been confirmed just in the last two weeks. Talladega County has reported a total of 61 deaths due to COVID-19.
There are currently 27,323 total hospitalizations across the state.
Alabama is under a mask ordinance until Jan. 22 to help slow the spread of the virus.
Remember to wash your hands, wear masks in public, keep your hands away from your face and continue to practice six-feet social distancing.
