SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The number of COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Talladega County.
Last week, Gov. Ivey mandated a mask requirement for the state of Alabama to try and help slow the spread of COVID-19.
Talladega County has reported a total of 927 positive coronavirus cases, with 13 deaths.
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health, Jefferson County has the most cases in the state with 12,039 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The state of Alabama alone has recorded 90,890 positive cases with 1,611 deaths and is one of 18 states on the White House coronavirus “red zone” list.
