T.J. Maxx announces it will donate $10,000 to SAFE at March 18 ribbon cutting ceremony

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – T.J. Maxx is gearing up to open its Sylacauga location in the Marble City Square shopping center on Sunday, March 18.

In a press release from its corporate headquarters in Framington, Massachusetts, it will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 7:30 that morning. At the ribbon cutting, T.J. Maxx has announced it will make a $10,000 donation to the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement.  The new store will also join all other stores nationwide in sponsoring Save the Children’s U.S. Programs. T.J.Maxx also supports Save the Children, Autism Speaks, and Joslin Diabetes Center with annual in-store fundraising campaigns.

Doors will open at 8 a.m. on Sunday, March 18, where  local shoppers can celebrate our newest location on March 18 starting at 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and experience the thrill of off-price shopping. Reusable bags will be given to the first 500 customers.
