SYLACAUGA, Ala. – After much community anticipation, Sylacauga’s new Publix supermarket will officially open on Wednesday, March 15.
The new Publix, located off of Hwy 280 at Marble City Square, will open at 7:00 a.m. that morning.
Sylacauga’s Publix sits at approximately 47,000 square feet and will include an in-store pharmacy.
Publix is the largest employee-owned company, not just in the United States, but the entire world. It was founded in 1930 in the Florida town of Winter Haven.
